In our Zoom ukulele lesson, we discussed substitutions to our main strum pattern that we can use at transition points in the song; when you’re moving from the pre-chorus into the chorus, for example. The goal is to have a bouncy, driving feel for the overall song, and to change things up periodically and eventually, even spontaneously!
